What’s the best routine to reduce hunger?

what’s the best routine to suppress appetite?

It’s generally shown the exercise reduces appetite in most cases. However, have you ever wondered what specific routine does it best? A brand new study may have just answered this question as hunger is impossible to avoid when dieting, at some point. (Freitas et al. J Strength Cond Res 2021)

This new study compared full body training against low body training vs upper body training.

After training they assessed multiple variable associated with hunger like, lactate, gherlin, leptin and HRV, at 5, 30, 60 and 120 minutes after completion.

The results, full body training showed superior appetite suppression compared to the other splits. Not only was subjective hunger lower but lactate production was significantly higher. It’s believed that the higher lactate concentration suppressed and inhibited gherlin, also know as the hunger hormone!
