Soda VS Fruit Drinks: What’s Actually Better For You?

Soda VS Fruit Juice: What’s actually better for you?

Fruit juice has a misconception of being healthy for use, while soda is demonized. However, have you ever looked at the nutrition label. Here’s some stats from the new 2020 USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans 🤯

First off, let’s remember no food is inherently good or bad and both can be used flexible to achieve weight-loss and improve health.

However, speaking from a strictly caloric standpoint. Soda wins hands down!

On average a 12oz soda has in at 156 calories with 37 grams of added sugar, while fruit juice has 238 calories and 59 grams of added sugar....

Now again, please remember, these drinks arnt inherently bad because of sugar. This just serves as a reminder and awareness that you may be taking in a lot more calories than you think. Opt for unsweetened tea, diet soda and water as a replacement.
