How to deal with hunger while losing weight

Like it or not, hunger is unavoidable and it is something that everyone must deal with when losing weight eventually. So what’s the best way to overcome hunger pains?

1. Focus on low calorie, high volume foods like lean protein, veggies and fruit

2. Have a high protein diet. The more protein you eat the more satiated you’ll be curbing hunger.

3. If you’re not hungry, don’t eat. Save your food for when you actually want to eat.

4. Get plenty of fiber. Fiber attracts water and expands in the stomach and intestines signaling fullness, decreasing hunger.

5. Avoid liquid calories. Liquid calories are incredibly easy to consume is high amounts without realizing it.

6. Drink zero calories beverages before eating. Consuming liquids before a meal is show to increase fullness a meal satisfaction.

7. Keep your caffeine high. Yes, caffeine is shown to suppress hunger. As long as it’s not interfering with sleep, have at it.

8. Avoid hyper palatable foods. If there’s a food you know you struggle overeating, it’s best not to buy it or have it in your house.
