Do Fat Burners Actually Work?

Yes.....however are they actually worth your taking, worth your money or make any kind of significant difference on fat loss? ABSOLUTELY F*CK!NG NOT. So what’s the problem, if they work, why not take them?

It’s because the unfortunate reality is that when it seems to good to be true, it normally is. Recent studies (Campbell et al 2016, 2020) on both fit males and females, demonstrated only an 8% increase in resting metabolic rate that lasted 3 hours. That’s a whooping extra 15 calories for a female with an RMR of 1,500.

Additionally (Belza et al 2005) investigated continued daily use for 7 days straight. Although these finding were better, at 48 additional calories burned per 24 hours, its still not enough to elicit any meaningful change or offset being in a calorie surplus.

There’s no short cuts. Your best results will come from a sustainable energy deficit, in combination with resistance training and cardio. That being said, if you really want to take a fat burner, just stick with low calorie coffee, zero cal energy drink or stim pills, as caffeine is the most commonly used ingredient in FB.
