Short Terms Goals For Long Term Success
Weight loss can be very difficult to achieve. Even more so long when it long term. This is why it’s crucial to create both short term and long term goals.
Short term goals allow you to focus on improving incrementally. This make goals seem more realistic than they would normally. Losing 50 pounds may seem impossible to many but losing 1 pound a week seems easy by comparison. Do this for one year and boom, you’ve lost 52 pounds 👌🏼
Here’s a little tip. The US Department of Agriculture recommends 1,600 calories a day for women that are sedentary and 2,400 when active. For men, it’s 2,200 and 2,800 calories. However, these numbers will vary based on age and weight.
Additionally, the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine recommends at least a minimum of 150 of strenuous activity per week.
