It’s incredibly popular to see advertising that claims exercise to specifically target belly fat. Is this actually possible?

Only a hand full of studies have shown that fat reduction is slightly higher is trained areas of the body vs untrained areas. What’s worse is that these studies haven’t been able to replicate results so it’s more than likely flawed data.

The painful reality is there’s nothing you can do to directly increase fat loss around the midsection.

So what can you do? BE PATIENT! You didn’t get fat overnight and you can’t get lean overnight. Your best bet is to train 3-5 days a week, consistently for several months, while being in a constant calorie deficit in addition to getting 10,000 steps a day.
